CRAPPIFE$T has become the largest “Big Crappie” Tournament in the Country for good reason! Each angler weighs in just one crappie, and you can fish from any kind of boat, the bank, a dock, a kayak or a tube. You can even wade-fish if you like! You can win money for exact weight fish, and just for showing up! See Payouts and Prizes. With a tournament format like this, every single angler, regardless of skill level, has a chance to win serious cash! Crappie anglers of all ages can fish and Win Big Prizes! Even if you don't catch a fish at all you may win more than if you had placed! The entry fee for adults is $100 plus cc fees and junior anglers (17 and under) fish for free with a chance to win money in the form of savings bonds for their future!

Created in 2014 by Jaydon and Rhonda Reeve, with 99 adult entries, and paying out $15,000 in cash and prizes, CRAPPIEFE$T quickly got the attention of anglers and has grown exponentially in both participants and payouts over the years! Hosting a whopping 409 adult anglers, and paying out over $45,000 in it's history, CRAPPIEFE$T continues to grow in 2024 with it's new owners Jerry Hancock and Travis Decker.
Jerry and Travis are both Lake Fork residents, well known long time ambassadors in the Crappie Industry, and strong advocates for all things growth and promotion of the sport of Crappie Fishing as a whole.
Joining the team with a likeminded passion for the sport of Crappie Fishing, bringing up the next generation outdoors, and preparing them for the future, (along with the love of throwing a great party!) is Cassandra Gann.
Using the platform of Crappie Fishing to bring families together outside, and better the world around us, CRAPPIEFE$T is excited to announce we will be awarding savings bonds to the Jr. Anglers! These can be used for college or trade, or whatever they need to get going in life! These are FREE as there is no charge for Jr. Anglers!
